Our aim is to offer a unique travel experience for women where they discover the world and get to deepen their own self connection. We've designed every aspect of this retreat to empower you and to support local  business owners through hands on collaborations and education. We've thought through every activity, and intentionally connected with amazing locally owned businesses to give you a multi dimensional and intentional trip experience where you can feel taken care of, and supported. Morocco's, "red city" is known for its elaborate architecture, bustling markets (the souks), the most generous hospitality, tranquil accommodations, and a rich culture that can be experienced through every one of your senses. After 5 nights in the city at our favorite Riad (traditional Moroccan boutique hotel), we'll drive an hour out to the stone desert to restore and relax. Luxury camping tents are surrounded by unobstructed views of the vast desert and Atlas Mountains. Camel ride, chill out around the campfire at night, go hot air ballooning or check off some of your other bucket list activities.
This trip is for women who are curious about visiting the wild city of Marrakech, yet don't want to necessarily do it alone. If you are adventurous, curious about other cultures, open to trying new cuisine, appreciate beautiful aesthetics, and enjoy shopping, then welcome! During our trips we always dine together for breakfast and dinner, and will always offer you our recommendations for lunch spots around the city, to get a taste of where you might be curious to eat. Each trip is designed to feel well rounded and dimensional, and a perfect balance between activity and relaxation.
We'll always schedule in some free time in case you're the more independent type and want to wander the city on your own. Your trip leader will offer optional morning yoga sessions during this trip so that you can move your body and reflect before we start the day, but you might enjoy sleeping in, either way, you have the option! If you like hanging out with like minded women, whether you're traveling with your bestie or going solo, you'll have a built in community for the week.
Dani Reidy will guide you on your Moroccan experience. An avid traveler with a laid back attitude, Dani will provide you with an experience where you feel both safe and relaxed. Dani has traveled to Morocco several times and has close connections with locals to bring you the most authentic experience possible. She'll show you around to all of her favorite spots, and be able to take you through the maze that is the souks, confidently. Dani's compassionate and happy demeanor will make you feel welcome & safe to share your needs/wants.  Learn more about Dani here.
Anna Meyer, will be your photographer. A highly talented professional who works in D.C. and our favorite addition to the trip. Anna inspires our guests to feel empowered getting their photos taken, and you'll leave the week with hundreds of photos to remember Morocco. Having a photographer on our trip is important to us, not just for the amazing photos you'll get, but for the opportunity it provides for you to truly be present and take in your travel experience with one less distraction. Follow Anna here.
In Marrakech, we'll be staying at a gorgeous (yes insta worthy) Riad, right in the heart of the Medina. Our hosts are a French couple who make you feel like friends as soon as you arrive. You'll walk into an oasis, and be greeted by the two house cats, Bebe & Bowie, before sitting down for traditional mint tea. Feel right at home, as we take over the entire Riad for the five nights we're in the Medina. Our rooftop terrace, that is truly a plant haven, will give you space to relax under the African sun in between our activities. We'll be within walking distance of everything we do, beyond when we drive out to the Atlas Mountains for the day (you've got to check out the views from the terrace we have lunch on) as well as when we go into the "New City" for dinner at one of our favorite women owned restaurants.
Our desert experience is once in a lifetime. Glamping anyone? Complete with bathrooms, a pool, garden and WIFI, our desert camp will offer you some of the comforts of modern accommodations, while encouraging you to stretch your adventurous spirit as you sleep under the stars.
Upon registration of the trip, you'll receive all the details of your accommodations, but trust us when we say, it's awesome.
There are single and double rooms available. Single, meaning, there is one queen bed available, and double, meaning two single beds are available in the room. In some cases, there is an option to have a triple room, if you wanted to share a bed with a friend/ family member. Ask us about it if you're interested.
